Notes From the Track Superintendent

Wow! The progress “West” continues with incredible work parties. Track laying has progressed through Tunnel #1 and now is ready to enter Tunnel #2. Laying track in the tunnel went very well with the use of coleman lanterns and lights mounted on hard hats. This was certainly different from laying track in the sunshine! But above all, the level of excitement was hard to contain, seeing light dancing on the rail head as it disappears into the cavernous confines of the tunnel!

Yeah, okay, I’m excited over this project, and I’m certain those in the work parties are just as excited as I. There is still a lot to do, so come on out and enjoy a load of satisfaction.
